To join our organization you'll need a love of history. Prospective members should share our ideals and love for the hobby. When you become a member, you will be joining a group of like-minded individuals who have a passion for history and the Civil War.
The National Civil War Association is open to all individuals of any age. There are age restrictions for combat units, but there is also a cadet corps available for those who are too young to be allowed on the field.
We are reenactors dedicated to providing living history in Northern or Central California for the general public. That means that at our public events, all rules regarding authenticity and military honors should be followed. These rules help us to offer a better presentation of armies and civilian life of the era. Have you looked through the rules and regulations of the NCWA Organization?
